Randstad is excited to partner with a market leading Logistics company in Northern Victoria, in their search for a Regional maintenance Manager.

This position offers a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading brand, in an established team who are currently growing due to their productivity and performance.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Fleet Management: Execute servicing, repairs, and complex diagnostic work across the company fleet.
  • External Liaison: Coordinate with external providers to ensure major repairs are completed efficiently and on schedule.
  • Performance Improvement: Troubleshoot problems, identify root causes, and propose opportunities for maintenance process enhancement.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete necessary paperwork diligently.
  • Breakdowns & Scheduling: Immediately attend to, rectify, and report equipment breakdowns. Plan and schedule major plant inspections and significant repairs.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively and collaboratively with Operations and other internal teams.
  • Operational Readiness: Ability to work autonomously and be available for required call-outs.


Desired Experience/Quals -

  • Certification: Mechanical trade certification (Preferred).
  • Experience: Significant experience managing large fleet maintenance programs.
  • 3+ years experience as a heavy vehicle/trailer mechanic.
  • Proven background in fleet and trailer maintenance, servicing, and breakdown support.
  • Technical Knowledge: Excellent diagnostic, repair, and breakdown support skills.
  • Licensing: Current HR (Heavy Rigid) license.
  • Soft Skills:

    Sound interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
